About the Author

Neil Bingham is a historian of architecture and design. He is curator of contemporary architectural collections at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and was previously architectural drawings curator at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, and the Royal Institute of British Architecture. His numerous published works include Masterworks: Architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts (2011), Fantasy Architecture, 1500–2036 (2004) and Modern Retro: Living with Mid-Century Style (2000).
