Post-secondary education is a time of great change, discovery and development in the lives of young adults, and with many choosing to study away from home, architecture must respond to their diverse needs. It must encourage study, and yet also facilitate the all-important social connections which will define young people’s lives and careers. This book features outstanding examples of student housing from around the world, each project accompanied by full-color photographs, drawings, and detailed commentary from the architects themselves.
